Web form for creating a seacoos convention XML data description file for ASCII column oriented data from a fixed location.
Fill out the below required fields (*optional denotes optional fields) and click the 'Submit' button at page bottom. If there are missing fields or errors with the form, the error will be listed and the browser 'Back' button can be used to correct the form error. On successfully completing the form, the web browser will return an XML version of your submitted data which can be used for automated aggregation and other purposes.

Column Information

Note: Populate one or several of the below column descriptions. Columns start at number 1 (the assumed column for measurement time) and increase one for each column to the right. Descriptions which do not include a column number are ignored.
More observation types and flexibility in the unit types will be added later

Assumptions:
Measurement time is represented in ISO 8601 format like '2005-05-01 14:00:00' with time zone assumed as GMT/UTC.
Measurement time increases for each row.
Measurement time zone hour offset if not GMT/UTC (+/-)(1 to 24) *optional
Column number for measurement time if not in first column *optional
 

Measurement height or depth is in reference to mean sea level (MSL).
